Level 01
The Fundamentals of Furniture Painting (Beginner)
In this intensive 4-hour course you will learn:

Everything you need to know about all five of the Frenchic Paint ranges, including which range works on which surface/part of your home; as well as best practices when using them.

How to paint and upcycle furniture.

In-depth how to apply paint techniques such as modern flat finish, a rustic shabby chic finish, colour wash, an authentic distressed finish and learn how to achieve success with each technique in your home.

How to apply sealants and waxes.

To complete a small project using the skills learned throughout the class (project will be provided).

This course is designed to be very hands-on, you will create sample boards as a guide that you can take home. All materials, supplies, aprons, and notebook to be provided.

The Fundamentals of Furniture Painting (Intermediate)
Level 02
Paint Like A Pro Workshops
In the Intermediate 4-hour intensive, you will continue to build on basic furniture painting skills and learn new techniques. In this course you will:

Review techniques learned in Level 1 and continue to build on them (if you haven’t attended our Fundamentals level 01 course, contact us so we can assess your skill level)

Learn and apply new techniques such as dry brushing and wet distressing

Learn how to create texture and depth with wax
-
Learn how to use several mediums like glazes, gilding wax, creating metallics with powders and crackling paste.

Learn how to decoupage and stencil

Complete a small project (project will be provided).

The Fundamentals of Furniture Painting (Advanced)
In the Advance course, we focus heavily on techniques. In this 4 hour intensive, you will learn to:

Refine and build on techniques learned in Basic and Intermediate Levels

Apply techniques like ombre, blending, layering, faux wood effect, using transfer and creating both modern vibes and old-world charm on sample boards.

Complete a small project (project will be provided).
